If you love nature, this is definitely the right place for you
with or without action…
The sea with its miles of sandy beaches, from the lighthouse in Los Caños de Meca to El Palmar, is a dream. Here you can experience spectacular sunsets. Playa Mangueta, between Zahora and El Palmar, is a beautiful natural beach if you want a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
The natural park “Parque Natural de La Breña” welcomes you with a pleasantly spicy scent of pine trees, flowers and herbs and invites you to take a walk.
Or by bike through the beautiful nature park. There is a very good bike store in Vejer, where you can hire mountain bikes and e-bikes. My guests have been delighted with the quality and service so far.
Surfing in El Palmar. There are many professional surf schools here that offer courses for all ages and levels all year round.
There is a very interesting climbing area just before Tarifa. There are also several golf courses in the surrounding area. And there is even an outdoor go-kart track between El Palmar and Conil de la Frontera.
If you want to do more for your body and soul, you can meet every morning for meditation. Or relax with yoga.
So as you can see, it certainly won’t be boring.
For culture enthusiasts and shopping fans

Vejer is one of the most beautiful white villages in the province of Cádiz. It was declared a historical site in 1976 and received the 1st National Beauty Award two years later. Tarifa is the southernmost city in Europe, Africa is only about 14 km away, separated by the Strait of Gibraltar. From here you have a great view of the old town, the harbour and in good weather you can see as far as Morocco.
Tarifa is also a paradise for windsurfers and kitesurfers. Even if you’re not that sporty yourself, it’s a feast for the eyes when the waves are good.
Most whales and dolphins are found off Tarifa, in the Strait of Gibraltar. The Swiss foundation “firmm” invites you to meet these wonderful animals in German-language excursions, definitely an experience s.
Near Bolonia, just before Tarifa, you will find Baelo Claudia, the excavations of a Roman city. The ruined city is in excellent condition and the complex is very impressive.
Cádiz, approx. 1 hour by car
Cádiz is the capital of the province of the same name and also the oldest city in Western Europe. So it is definitely worth a visit. In the center, the narrow streets provide enough shade to make the heat bearable even in summer. Even in the winter months, Cádiz is a bustling, lively city with many sights. The cathedral is just one of the magnificent historic buildings. From the dome, you have a wonderful view of the city and the expanse of the Atlantic. There are also numerous museums. The location of Cádiz is very impressive: it is completely surrounded by the sea and can only be reached by a narrow coastal road. The miles of sandy beaches invite you to swim and relax.

Jerez is one of the largest cities in Andalusia.
